PA Puppymill Shut Down - BREW helps

BREW took swift action today, coming to the aid of the Harrisburg, PA Animal Shelter. They called yesterday with news that authorities had shut down a puppymill in the county. There were a number of beagles and they could use all the help we could provide.

We took 7 females including 2 nursing moms with 8 puppies.

To add some levity to the situation, we decided to name the adults and puppies after board games.

So, we have:

Trivial Pursuit and Parcheesi as the moms. Candyland, Mousetrap, Hi-Ho Cherry-O, Battleship, Yahtzee, Monopoly, Clue, and one other that I can't remember right now.

The other females are: Taboo, Kerplunk, Checkers, Scrabble, and Boggle.

BREW would like to thank the PA State Legislature for passing tough new puppymill laws that give Animal Control autorities more leeway to close these facilities down.

Photos are coming soon.
